Dunan Lodge

Dunan Lodge is three miles from the Bridge of Gaur at the western end of Loch Rannoch. Built in the middle of the 1800s, it was originally a salmon lodge until contruction of the hydro dam ended the salmon fishing. Situated on the bank of the River Gaur the Lodge enjoys beautiful views east down the glen towards Loch Rannoch.

Dunan Lodge is a substantial home is in excellent condition , comfortable and well equipped , and will provide a superb base for the discerning sportsman and his family or guests. A walled garden by the river offers a sheltered spot for those seeking relaxation while the hills and lochs beckon the sportsman

The house has 5 double bedrooms each with twin beds, 2 bathrooms, large drawing room, dining room, modern kitchen, pantry and gunroom. It has an excellent hot water and central heating system.. A separate laundry room attached to the cottage has a walk in drying cupboard, two washing machines and a tumble dryer. A large freezer is also in the laundry. All cleaning materials, towels and linen are provided. Kennels are available though we do request that pets are not brought into the home.

For larger parties taking both the lodge and cottage would provide a total of 8 double bedrooms.

Dunan Lodge is used as the holiday retreat of the McCorquodale family and is therefore only let after personal consultation with Mr. McCorquodale.
